Kent Junior Chess Association (KJCA) is a non‑profit organisation dedicated to developing chess opportunities for children and young people across Kent and South East London.
We offer a range of activities, training and tournaments for junior players, including:
Tournaments — A series of ECF‑rated events and qualifying tournaments (including London Junior Championships qualifiers) for age groups from Under‑8 to Under‑18.
Training — Structured coaching programmes using the official Institute of Chess syllabus, enabling students to take Levels 1–5 examinations.
Other events — Masterclasses and specialist coaching sessions.
