Over more than twenty years, KJCA has supported the development of many strong junior players. Most notably, Grandmaster Shreyas Royal — England’s youngest current Grandmaster — played regularly in our tournaments during his early development. We enter teams in the English Chess Federation National Championships and were delighted when both our Under‑9 and Under‑11 teams became National Champions in 2026.
